President Darshana Vasa is spearheading the Rotary Club of Bombay Pier for RY 2021-22
She is a B.Com, MBA from Bajaj Institute of Management and LLB from Government Law College.
She is a Director in Narendra Holding Pvt. Ltd, In Nichi Insurance Services Pvt. Ltd. and Niban Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.
She is an Honorary Secretary at Indo Japanese Association since 2018.
She runs a marriage consultancy under the aegis “Darshana’s Marriage Bureau” where she has 10,000 plus clients.
Her husband Shamit Vasa has done Plastic Engineering from Lowell
Massachusetts and Masters after that from the same university with MBA
from WHARTON & PHD from MIT. He was in Reliance for 20 years as Senior
Vice President and was active in the Jamnagar Project. After that he joined
Jacob’s Engineering for five years where he was Head Asia Pacific. Now he is
with Essar Industries as Senior Vice President under the Chairmanship of Mr
Ravi Ruia.
They are blessed with two lovely twin daughters Disha & Diya 18 years of age.
Disha is in ISME Undergraduate school doing Business Management and Entrepreneurship along with B.Com.
Diya is with Dice Film School which is affiliated with Vancouver Film School undergraduate with Film Production B.A.
Darshana, at the Club level has been on the Board of Directors for five years as Director – Programs and Club Secretary for one year.
She has taken up this challenging post in the current RY to fulfil her dreams to serve the community by doing large, sustainable and ongoing projects.
